Our client, located in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Application Middleware Integration experience for an immediate contract position. Details include:

Project Description 2 Projects:
1. Middleware Architecture assessment. Work with team and external vendors to gather requirements and assess possible options, products, configurations, risks, etc for selecting a Middleware platform, and define how it can / will be used in our environment. Platform will be leveraged given where we are, where we want to go, and clearly define the overlaps of functionality between current apps / platforms and the proposed. Run project to define what the future state will look like, what the gaps are and define roadmap to get there.
2. Public folders assessment and solutioning - This effort will define the uses of the Public Folders and recommend remediation strategies for the existing data and alternatives for future storage of data in non-Exchange systems.
Project Manager will manage major projects or multiple mid/small projects. Manage all aspects of a project, from beginning to end, with direct accountability for project execution while leading a project team, or teams, to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with limited resources to return specific value to the business.
Responsibilities:
-Manage major projects with overall accountability for project success while also managing one or more project managers on numerous mid to smaller projects.
-When needed, act as a Program Manager, with accountability for related series of projects, executed over a broad period of time, which are designed to accomplish broad goals of the program to which these individual projects contribute.
-Implement and follow Project Management Office standard methodologies, processes and tools, develop and maintains project documentation, work plans and project deliverables. Guide others in the use of the methodology and tools.
-Manage and motivate project teams, planning work assignments and schedules and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Guide and monitor work performance.
-Accountable to local IT leadership for project delivery and directions while simultaneously accountable to Enterprise IT-PMO for project methodology and reporting.
-Work with project sponsor(s) and the team to establish project performance goals, metrics and baselines.
-Establish and maintain effective communications with team members, stakeholders, senior management and contacts.
-Communicate project status to identified stakeholders through routine status reports and meetings.
-Initiate and maintain issues logs, taking responsibility for identifying and coordinating resolution of all technical and business issues.
-Ensure all project time is accounted for and project and team member activities are routinely collected and reported in standard fashion. Estimate resources needed on projects to ensure success.
-Where appropriate, coordinate vendor activities to ensure project success.
-Assist in the advancement of project management competencies, including development of methodology and frameworks, development and conduct of education/training completion of quality reviews and coaching/mentoring of others engaged in project management activities.
Required Experience:
-4 - 6 years of management and/or project management experience to lead projects as well as guide others on project management techniques
-Minimum 8 years experience in information systems.
-Demonstrated capability to manage projects with budgets in excess of $500,000 leading these projects to successful implementation and life cycle
-Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide clear messages to all levels.
-Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
-Demonstrated analysis and problems solving skills using innovative thinking.
Preferred:
-Experience with standard project management tools, methodologies and frameworks.
-Broad working knowledge and experience with healthcare applications and technology.
-Experience in managing large scale projects.
-Experience working with and negotiating with external vendors.
