The entire list of concerns was over 30 items long, leaving the sense that the “bad guys” continue to have the upper hand when it comes to cybersecurity in our hyper-connected world. However, as ZDNet notes, there is a concerning, “laissez-faire attitude toward the security of mobile and IoT applications.” Despite the fact that mobile and IoT threats impacted 60 percent of respondents and over half expressed concerned for keeping mobile and IoT secure, less than 45% of those same people considered securing those applications to be an urgent priority.
